The Test of All Tests

Writing term papers can be stressful, even for the most enthusiastic student. Writer’s block can creep up in a instant and rob a student of ideas for a paper topic. It is a lot to endure, but all college students have to face this reality one in a while. I remember my encounter with a term paper. I needed to make a high grade on it in order to graduate. The paper was worth half of my grade. I knew that I had to get it right. I used a plagiarism check website to check to see if my paper was original. I did not want my paper to be less than perfect.

The situation took place during my senior year of college. I only need four more college credits to graduate. I took an economics class. he class overall was easy, but we had some difficult assignments. We only had two exams in the whole semester. They were in the form of two term papers, the midterm and the final exam.

I did well on my midterm paper, but I was worried about the final exam. If I did bad on my final exam, I automatically would fail the class. That meant that I would have to wait to next year to graduate. My family already expected me to graduate this year. My family wanted to come to our graduation. I would be so embarrassed if I did not pass.

I realized what I had to do. I buckled down and got to business. I took all of my notes from our assigned readings and lectures. I composed them into a argument that I wanted to use for my paper. I brainstormed about what I wanted to say. I was able to clearly type my paper. It needed just one more thing. I had to proofread it for accuracy and originality. I went to a plagiarism website and it scanned my final exam paper. It found no trace of plagiarism. It also checked for misspelled words. It found none. I was confident in my work. I turned it in to the teacher with confidence.

I found out that I got a perfect score. I got a A out of the class. I had all my credits and I graduated with honors.
